English for Academic Purposes (EAP) (LEVELS 1–6)

Course Overview

The English for Academic Purposes (EAP) course is designed to prepare international students to undertake tertiary study in Australia. Students enrolled in this course are focused on developing the English language and academic skills needed to successfully complete a tertiary-level course at an Australian institution.

The course is delivered across 2 levels, providing specialist study preparation that progresses from a language focus to a skills focus. Each level runs for 10 weeks.

EAP Level 1 and Level 2 each run for 10 weeks, making the full course 20 weeks in total. Classes are delivered face-to-face in a classroom setting for 20 hours per week. Students are also expected to complete at least 5 hours of self-study each week.
